教育开放推广季“跨文化视野” 和山面对面 第十八期

为了进一步了解和关心国际留学生在校学习和生活情况、增进对留学生所在的国家文化的认识、培养学生国际视野、促进文化交流和文明沟通,国际学院针对留学生推出了教育开放推广季“跨文化视野”之“和山面对面”系列访谈节目。3月29日下午中国语言文化学院汉语国际教育系的郑煜滟同学对曼芊进行了访谈。

曼芊,来自摩洛哥,2024级汉语语言文化专业的学生。

Q1:你可以向我介绍一下你的国家吗?

曼芊:摩洛哥是一个非洲北部的国家,所有的摩洛哥人都从小被要求学习三门语言,分别是阿拉伯语、法语、英语。在我们国家有国王,这一点是和中国非常不一样的。在我们国家有非常多的城市,每座城市有不同的代表颜色、代表食物和服装,语言也会有差异。


Q1: Can you tell me a little bit about your country?

Khaoula bousbar: Morocco is a country in northern Africa, and all Moroccans are required to learn three languages from an early age: Arabic, French, and English. In our country there is a king, which is very different from China. There are so many cities in our country, each with different colors, food, clothing, and language.


Q2:如果我去你的国家旅游,你会推荐我去哪儿?

曼芊:首先我会推荐我所在城市,即“红色之城”——Marrakech,你可以在这看到很多的博物馆、历史遗迹,这是一座旅游城市;或许还会推荐你去北部的城市即“蓝色之城”——Chefchaouen,我相信你会喜欢这座城市的美食和风景;我还会推荐你去西部海岸城市,Casablanca、Rabat(首都);接着我会推荐你去南部的Sahara沙漠,可以在那儿骑骆驼、玩沙地滑板。然后在沙滩上会建一些帐篷酒店,外观看起来是个帐篷,但走进去里面就和寻常酒店没什么区别。如果是东部的话,我推荐你去Cozumel。


Q2: If I travel to your country, where would you recommend me to go?

Khaoula bousbar: First of all, I would recommend my city, the "Red City" - Marrakech, where you can see a lot of museums, historical sites, this is a tourist city; You may also be recommended to visit the northern city, the "Blue City", Chefchaouen, which I am sure you will enjoy the food and scenery of the city; I would also recommend you to the western coast cities, Casablanca, Rabat (capital); Then I would recommend you to the Sahara Desert in the south, where you can go camel riding and sand skateboarding. Then there will be some tent hotels on the beach, which look like tents on the outside, but inside they are no different from ordinary hotels. If it's eastern, I recommend you to go to Cozumel.


Q3:你们国家的美食特别丰富,能不能给我其中五道你最喜欢的?

曼芊:1.Bstilla它是一个圆饼形的,里面可以加入鸡肉、鱼肉;2.Tagine有非常多种食材可以选择,如肉类、鸡肉类、鱼肉类、蔬菜类,通常每种味道又对应着特定的不同的味道,例如肉类对应的是甜口的,那就不可以把大蒜、生姜这样的佐料放进去。3.Rfissa我们非常注重各种食物的摆盘,如果在菜的摆盘上看到了鹌鹑蛋做装饰,那就说明这碗菜不是甜口的。对我们来说,对美食的追求更像是一种积极的生活态度。这也是我会做菜的原因之一,中饭我会选择在食堂解决,但是晚餐我就会回到我租的房子自己下厨,当然我还带了很多摩洛哥的佐料来还原家乡的味道。4.Tangia这道菜在我的城市非常有名,也是一道来我城市必吃的一道美食。在我们国家,几乎每隔几条街道就会有一个建筑——公共烤炉,大家可以把需要烤的东西放进去,会有工作人员帮你进行操作。5.Couscous我们会在里面加入蔬菜和肉类,然后一起煮。


Q3: Your country is very rich in food, can you give me five of your favorites?

Khaoula bousbar:1. Bstilla is a round pie-shaped that can be filled with chicken and fish; 2. Tagine has a very variety of ingredients to choose from, such as meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, usually each flavor corresponds to a specific different taste, for example, meat corresponds to sweet, then you can't put garlic, ginger and other condiments into it. 3. Rfissa We pay great attention to the presentation of various foods, if you see quail eggs on the plate of the dish as a decoration, it means that the bowl is not sweet. For us, the pursuit of good food is more like a positive attitude towards life. This is one of the reasons why I cook, I choose to cook in the cafeteria for lunch, but for dinner I will go back to my rented house to cook by myself, and of course I also bring a lot of Moroccan condiments to restore the taste of home. 4. Tangia is a dish that is very famous in my city, and it is also a must-eat dish in my city. In our country, almost every few streets there is a building - a public oven, where you can put what you need to bake, and there will be staff to help you operate it. 5.Couscous We will add vegetables and meat to it and cook it together.


Q4:你为什么会选择现在的专业?

曼芊:我从小就非常喜欢科学,在我六七岁的时候,我会去我妈妈的房间,把所有能结合的东西都混在一起,比如香水之类的,我很享受创造新事物这个过程;进入中学后,我发现我特别喜欢数学,所以我就选择了科学。因为COVID-19,我当时在摩洛哥过春节,无法回中国继续完成我的学业,只能在网上上课。那是一段非常艰难的日子,因为时差原因,中国是从早上8点上到晚上9点,但在摩洛哥就是凌晨1点上到次日的凌晨2点。同样,我也是在网上毕业的。于是我决定在摩洛哥读硕士学位,读的是金融与贸易。因为我想从事的化学工程的工作,那就需要进公司,所以这就意味着我得掌握金融知识来知道整个公司是怎么运作的。大家常常会误把化学工程和化学搞混,学化学专业是在实验室里工作的,而学化学工程专业是在公司工作的。我来举个例子,例如我去一家咖啡公司工作,我的工作任务就是研发新的咖啡口味。但不仅仅是专注于产品研发,我还得知道各种机器是怎么运作的,整瓶咖啡的包装怎么设计、产品的投入和营收,还需要去调查市场等等,所以对我来说金融是非学不可的。然后为什么现在来浙外学习中文,是因为我想在中国就业,我要为此做准备。但也不是非中国就业不可,我只是想准备好,因为不知道命运会把我导向何处。


Q4: Why did you choose your current major?

Khaoula bousbar: I've always been very fond of science since I was a kid, and when I was six or seven years old, I would go to my mother's room and mix everything that could be combined, like perfume and stuff, and I enjoyed the process of creating new things; When I entered middle school, I found that I didn't like math, so I chose science. Because of COVID-19, I was in Morocco for the Chinese New Year and could not go back to China to continue my studies, so I could only take classes online. It was a very difficult time, because of the time difference, it was from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in China, but in Morocco it was from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. the next day. Similarly, I graduated online. So I decided to do a master's degree in finance and trade in Morocco. Because I wanted to work in chemical engineering, I needed to be in the company, so that meant I had to have financial literacy to know how the whole company worked. People often mistakenly confuse chemical engineering with chemistry, where you work in a laboratory and you work in a company when you study chemical engineering. Let me give you an example, for example, when I work for a coffee company, my job is to develop new coffee flavors. But I also have to know how the various machines work, how to design the packaging of the whole bottle of coffee, how to invest in the product and revenue, and to investigate the market, so finance is a must for me. Then why I came to Zhejiang to study Chinese now is because I want to work in China and I want to prepare for that. But I don't have to work in China, I just want to be ready, because I don't know where fate will lead me.


Q5:来到中国后,你觉得生活上有什么不同的吗?

曼芊:我觉得所有的一切都是不同的。在摩洛哥,我们使用现金或卡而不是支付宝和微信。在摩洛哥,我们倾向“夜生活”,通常十一十二点街道上还是非常热闹的,也有很多餐馆在营业。食物也是很大不同的一方面,在摩洛哥我们的主食是面包,在中国主食是饭/面。还有怎么吃也是——摩洛哥我们通常用手,除非是沙拉之类的我们会用勺子或者叉子;但在中国都是用筷子。在交通方面,在摩洛哥我们没有地铁和共享单车。


Q5: Do you feel any difference in your life since you came to China?

Khaoula bousbar: I think everything is different. In Morocco, we use cash or cards instead of Alipay and WeChat. In Morocco, we tend to have a "nightlife" approach, and usually the streets are still very lively at eleven or twelve o'clock, and there are many restaurants open. Food is also a very different aspect, in Morocco our staple food is bread, in China the staple food is rice/noodles. And how to eat it is also - in Morocco we usually use our hands, except for salads and the like we use a spoon or fork; But in China, chopsticks are used. In terms of transportation, we don't have a metro or bike-sharing in Morocco.



Q6:你对你的未来有什么规划吗?

曼芊:我会想回摩洛哥或者是在中国找一份工作,如果找不到的话,我就待在中国。但我并不想继续读博士,因为在中国读博士非常的难,需要读5年,而且还需要写论文;在摩洛哥读博士只用3年就够了。


Q6: Do you have any plans for your future?

Khaoula bousbar: I would like to go back to Morocco or find a job in China, and if I can't find it, I'll stay in China. But I didn't want to continue my Ph.D. because it was very difficult to do a PhD in China, it took 5 years to study, and I also had to write a thesis. It only takes 3 years to study for a PhD in Morocco.


Q7:你精通几门语言?

曼芊:阿拉伯语(我认为这是最难的一门语言)、法语、英语、汉语、意大利语、韩语、印度语。我妈妈是阿拉伯语和法语的老师,而且在摩洛哥这两门是必须学的;我去了语言学校学习托福,所以也会英语;后来我又想去意大利学习,于是学了意大利语,我的姨父是瑞士人他会说意大利语,所以由他来教我,但是最后没去成;我想去韩国,所以我学习了韩语,但韩国大学的学费非常昂贵所以我打消了这个想法;我从小非常喜欢看印度动画片和电影,但是那时候是没有任何字幕的,所以我就听着听着就懂了一些台词。而现在,我又来到了中国学习汉语。


Q7: How many languages are you proficient in?

Khaoula bousbar: Arabic (I think it's the hardest language), French, English, Chinese, Italian, Korean, Hindi. My mom was a teacher of Arabic and French, both of which were compulsory in Morocco; I went to a language school to study TOEFL, so I can also speak English; Later, I wanted to study in Italy, so I learned Italian, my uncle was Swiss and he could speak Italian, so he taught me, but in the end it didn't work; I wanted to go to Korea, so I studied Korean, but the tuition fee at a Korean university was very expensive, so I dismissed the idea; I grew up watching Indian cartoons and movies, but at that time there were no subtitles, so I just listened and understood some of the lines. And now, I have come to China to study Chinese.
