为了进一步了解和关心国际留学生在校学习和生活情况、增进对中外大学生所在的国家文化的认识、培养学生国际视野、促进文化交流和文明沟通，国际学院推出了教育开放推广季“跨文化视野”之“和山面对面”系列访谈节目。4月17日下午国际商学院的余兴星同学对爱美进行了访谈。
爱美，来自墨西哥，一名2025级国际商务专业的学生。
Ammy，from Mexico,is a student majoring in the International business in the class of 2025.
1.余兴星: 大家好，我很高兴你们能来参加这次采访。今天我邀请Ammy一起参加采访。我们希望通过这次采访，我们可以更多地了解墨西哥文化，历史和您的经历，Ammy，你可以做一个简短的自我介绍吗？
爱美: 好的，大家好!我的名字叫艾米，我的中文名字是爱美，我来到中国，因为我想练习更多的中文。我自2019年以来一直在学习中文，我非常喜欢亚洲文化，尤其是食物，并且，我玩得很开心。
YU XINGXING：Hello everyone! I'm so delighted that you can come to join us for this interview. Today I invite Ammy to join us, And I hope through this interview we can know more about the Mexico cultural,history and your experience .Ammy,can you do a brief self-introduction.?
Ammy：Okay, hi everyone! My name is Ammy, my Chinese name is爱美.Coming here to China, because I want to practice more my Chinese and I've been learning it since 2019, and I really like the Asian culture，especially the food. And I've been having a good time.
2.余兴星: 有哪些独特的墨西哥传统或节日对您或您的家人很重要？
爱美: 我的家庭很小，我们也没有太多传统，但在墨西哥有一个传统我很喜欢，西班牙语叫“Dia de muertos ”。基本上就是你去墓地，和已经去世的亲人待在一起。这真的很棒，因为能和逝者共度时光,你看过迪士尼的《寻梦环游记》吗？
余兴星: 哦，我知道里面有一首歌叫做《记住我》。
爱美: 是啊，这种氛围真的会变得热闹非凡，就像那种节日庆典之类的场景一样。他们布置得很有节日气氛，食物也很多，实际上还有一种叫做“pan de muerto”（亡灵面包）的小面包，里面加了糖，味道很棒，而且这种面包只有在特定的时节才能吃到。
余兴星: 你们也会像电影里一样化妆吗？
是啊，在学校的时候，我们也会有那么几天布置一些神龛之类的东西，我们也会化妆，我真的很喜欢。
YU XINGXING: What are some unique Mexico traditions or festivals that's important to you or your family?
Ammy: My family is very small and we don't really follow a lot of traditions, but one tradition that I really like in Mexico, it is the Dia de muertos in Spanish. And it's basically when you go to the cemetery and spend time with the love ones that have already dead. And it's really cool because enjoy being with dead people,If you've seen the movie “Coco” from Disney ？
YU XINGXING：Oh, I know here is a song named“ Remember me”.
Ammy: Yeah, It really comes alive like all those kind of things and they decor and they have a lot of food and actually there's a little bread that it's called pan de muerto(bread of dead) it's bread of that it has sugar in it and it's really good and you can only have it in that kind of season. It's something similar like the mooncake here in China and you can also get it only in one season .
YU XINGXING：You will also make up like the movie？
Yeah, we also at schools, we have like some days that we make up like these shrines,and we also make up and I really like.
3.余兴星: 你的家人是如何纪念亡灵节的？
爱美: 嗯，我只有一个阿姨已经去世了。所以我们通常只是去墓地，给她留下一些花和清洁她的墓碑，有时我们也给听她的音乐，比如我们雇佣一群音乐家去她的坟墓，为她歌唱。
余兴星: 坐在周围唱歌？
爱美: 是的，雇用一些人去给死去的人唱歌这真的是很常见。
余兴星: 是愉悦的，对吧？
爱美: 是的。
YU XINGXING : How does your family celebrate Día de los Muertos?
Ammy: well, I only have one aunt that has already passed away. So we usually just go to the cemetery and leave her some flowers and clean her like tone. And sometimes we also get her music. We hire like a group of musicians and we go to her tomb and they start singing to her.
YU XINGXING：It’s like to sit here and to sing?
Ammy: Yes,it's really common, like to hire people that singing to the death.
YU XINGXING：It's joyful, right?
Ammy: Yeah.
4.余兴星: 你喜欢的墨西哥菜是什么类型的，它在你们国家有特殊的意义吗？
爱美: 我最爱的墨西哥美食是“摩勒馅的玉米卷饼”，这东西就像是一张卷起来的玉米饼，里面填满了切碎的鸡肉以及一些蔬菜，比如土豆和胡萝卜，然后外面裹上了一层摩勒酱。摩勒酱是一种由巧克力和其他香料调制而成的酱汁，能为食物增添风味。我祖母会为我做这种美食，味道真的很棒,我尝过其他地方做的玉米饼卷，但都不如我祖母做的好吃。
余兴星: 你有在中国找到一样的吗？
爱美: 是的，我去了一家餐馆，是一家墨西哥餐馆，有玉米卷饼，很不错，但我感觉和我祖母做的不一样。
YU XINGXING： What's a type of Mexican dish you like and does it have a special meaning in your country?
Ammy: My favorite Mexican dish is “enchiladas de mole” it’s like a rolled tortilla filled with shredded chicken and some vegetables like potato and carrot, covered with mole. mole it’s like a sauce made of chocolate and other spices that add flavor to it. My grandmother makes it for me and it's really good.i’ve tried enchiladas from other places but they’re not as good as my grandmother’s
YU XINGXING：Do you found the same in China?
Ammy: Yeah. I went to a restaurant, it was a Mexican restaurant that it has enchiladas and they're good, but they're not the same .
5.余兴星: 你有欣赏的墨西哥人吗？
爱美: 嗯，她是一个模特，也是一个网红，她叫Marla Zaragoza。我真的很喜欢她的风格和一切，因为我真的很喜欢时尚，她是墨西哥人，我认为她有非常独特的风格，我真的很仰慕她，她是我第一个想到的人，我真的很佩服她。
YU XINGXING：Are there any Mexico people you admire?
Ammy: Well, She’s a model and also an influencer, she's called Marla Zaragoza，I really like her style and everything because I'm really into fashion and she's Mexican and I think she has like a very unique style and I really look up to her. I think she's the first one that comes to my mind，I really admire her.
6.余兴星: 好的，你希望更多人了解的墨西哥文化是什么？
爱美: 我认为我们作为墨西哥人，我们真的是很温暖的人。就像我们看到有人经过，我们会说，哦，早上好或晚上好或类似的事情，我认为我们真的很会表达谢意。例如，这是发生在我身上的事，例如在中国，当我买东西时，他们把它给了我，我总是说，噢！谢谢，我没有见过很多中国人这样做。比如说在墨西哥，如果一个服务员给我们递水或者其他东西，我们总是会说，谢谢，谢谢，谢谢…（互相道谢）我们总是喜欢说“谢谢你”，在这不是很常见。
余兴星: 是的，有人会说有人不会，我觉得是取决于是谁。你会像向陌生人问好？
爱美: 是的。例如，如果你在散步或做某事，与路过的其他人进行了眼神交流，我们会说早上好或类似的话。
YU XINGXING：Okay, what's something about the Mexico culture that you wish more people knew?
Ammy: I think we as Mexicans, we are really warm people. Like if we see someone pass, we're like, oh, good morning or good night or something like that, I think we are really grateful， for example, this has happened to me, like here in China, that when I buy something and they gave it to me. I'm always like, oh 谢谢and I've seen that not a lot of Chinese people do that. And like, for example, in Mexico, if a waiter brings us food or anything, we're always like, oh, thank you, thank you, thank you… we always like “thank you”,here it's not very common.
YU XINGXING：Yes, someone will say that someone will not. I think depend on who.you will say like “hello”to the stranger?
Ammy: Yeah，for example, if you're walking or something and we make eye contact with the other person that it's like passing by, we're always say good morning or things like that.
7.余兴星:你是否接触过有关墨西哥的刻板印象？对此你是如何回应的？
爱美: 我，个人来说，没有遇到过，但是有人像告诉我他们遇到过。比如，“噢，你在墨西哥有互联网吗？”这是个奇怪的问题。我不是很介意刻板印象，我遇到了一个俄罗斯女孩，她告诉我，哦，你看起来像俄罗斯人。我会说，我不是，例如，如果有人告诉我，哦！你看起来像俄罗斯人。我会说，不，我是墨西哥人。
YU XINGXING：Have you faced the stereotypes about Mexico? How do you respond to them?
Ammy: Me，personally, no. But having people tells me that happened to them. It's things like, “oh, do you have internet in Mexico?”It's like a weird question. I mean,I don't mind the stereotype. I met a Russian girl and she told me like, oh, you look Russian. And I was like, no, for example, if someone told me, oh, you look Russian. I'll be like, no I'm Mexican.
8.余兴星: 你喜欢大城市还是小城镇的生活？
爱美: 例如，我来自的州，是一个非常非常小的城镇，我们没有高楼大厦，我们总是去同样的购物中心。我真的很喜欢大城市，对我来说，杭州是一个大城市，我认为在这有很多事情可以做，比如，这有很多博物馆，我真的很喜欢博物馆，这里有很多博物馆你可以去，像西湖，这里有很多历史悠久的地方，这儿有很多在墨西哥我们小镇做不了的不同的活动。所以，是的，我真的很喜欢大城市。当然，也因为时尚，这有很多商店和一切东西。
YU XINGXING： Do you prefer city life or smaller towns?
Ammy: For example, the state where I come from, it's a really, really small town and we don't have like tall buildings and we always go to the same mall. And I really like big cities, for me, HangZhou is a big city and I think there's a lot of things to do like, there's a lot of museums. I really like museums. There's a lot of museums you can go, like to the 西湖 and there's a lot of historical places, there's different activities that you can do that I can not do in Mexico, in my small town. So, yeah, I really like a big cities. And also, because of the fashion, there's a lot of stores and everything.
9.余兴星: 什么是你生活中不可或缺的“非常墨西哥”的东西?
爱美: 嗯，超级喜欢和家人在一起，一起把事情做好。我的家庭规模很小，只有我妈妈和我，我还有些祖父母之类的亲戚，但我们彼此分隔得很远，关系也不太亲密。所以我只有妈妈一个人，没有妈妈我就没法生活了。
YU XINGXING：What's something “very Mexican” you can't live without？
Ammy: Well, It's super Mexicans like being with your family and like raise it. My family is really small, it's just my mom and I do have my grandparents and stuff, but we are separated, we're distant. So I only have my mom and I can live without without my mom.
10.余兴星: 你会向游客推荐墨西哥哪个必去的地方？
爱美: 或许，墨西哥城的博物馆数量是全球最多的。这座城市面积不大，所以一天之内就能参观完众多的博物馆。此外，这里还有许多历史遗迹，比如金字塔，以及印加文明时期的诸多遗迹。这是一个非常不错的地点。当然，你得走很多路，但这里确实很美，我已经去过好几次了。在墨西哥城有一个叫拉罗马（La Roma）的街区，那里有很多可爱的咖啡馆和其他旅游景点，因为有很多美国人搬到了这些街区。那里有很多会说英语的人，我觉得墨西哥城已经失去了一些其本质的特色，但它仍然是一个不错的城市。
YU XINGXING：What's the most-visit place in Mexico you'd recommend to tourists?
Ammy: Maybe, the museums in Mexico City, it's the city in the world that has most museums in the world. And since it's really small, you can visit like a lot of museums in one day. So, and it has a lot of historical places such as the pyramids, and everything of the press panic civilization. It's a really nice spot. I mean, you have to walk a lot, but it's really nice and I've already been like a couple of times and there's a neighborhood called La Roma that it has a lot of cute coffee shops and things like very touristy spots since there has been a lot kind of American people move to those kind of neighborhoods. There's a lot of people who speak English and I think it has lost a little bit of the essence of what Mexico City is, but it still is a nice place.
11.余兴星: 你最大的梦想是什么？
爱美: 嗯，目前来说，就是能流利地说中文，因为每次听到别人说中文，我就想，什么时候我才能像他们那样说呢，我是能说，但还不流利。还有就是找份工作，可以在这儿，也可以在墨西哥，但我还是希望在职业生活中能和中国有联系，因为我觉得中国潜力巨大。我的理想工作是往返于两国之间，可能是在亚洲，或者和时尚有关的工作，同时还能过上好日子。
YU XINGXING：What's your biggest dream from yourself?
Ammy:Well, for now, it's to speak Chinese fluently because every time that I hear people and everything, like when it's gonna be the day that I finally speak like them , I mean, I can talk, but not fluent and also getting a job,it can be here or in Mexico, but I still want to be related with China when in my like for a professional life.Because I think there's a lot of potential .my dream job would be traveling between both countries generally in Asia or something that should with fashion,and also having a good life with job.
