Art Program for International Students

in School of Arts

本专业立足弘扬中国优秀传统文化，通过中国传统艺术相关课程和校园文化活动，实现以美育人、以美化人、以美培元，引导留学生在中国传统美育中陶冶高尚情操、塑造美好心灵、增强中华优秀文化的传播。培养具有掌握中国传统艺术的基础理论、实践、创作能力和素养，能够在国际交流、艺术创作、艺术教育等相关领域更好传播和应用中国优秀的文化的留学生。

Based on the promotion of excellent Chinese traditional culture, the major realizes the cultivation of people with beauty, beautification of people with beauty and cultivation of elements with beauty through courses related to traditional Chinese art and cultural activities on campus, and guides international students to cultivate noble sentiments, shape beautiful hearts and enhance the dissemination of excellent Chinese culture in traditional Chinese aesthetic education. It will cultivate international students who have mastered the basic theory, practice, creative ability and literacy of traditional Chinese art, and are able to better disseminate and apply the excellent Chinese culture in international exchange, art creation, art education and other related fields.

（一）知识要求（ Knowledge）

1．通识性知识（Liberal knowledge）

掌握作为社会公民的一般性知识、了解经典人文社会科学和自然科学的基本常识，了解当前中国宏观、微观经济形势，熟悉中国的营商环境；

To grasp the common knowledge of being a qualified citizen, be familiar with common sense of classical social and natural sciences, having a better understanding on current Chinese macro and micro economic situation and being familiar with the business environment in China.

2. 汉语知识（Chinese）

掌握汉语的听说读写能力，能够在国际市场营销、国际贸易、跨国谈判等商务环境下，实现汉语的无障碍沟通。

Be able to listen, speak, read and write in Chinese, and can use Chinese fluently to conduct marketing, international trade and cross-border negotiation.

3. 专业性知识（Professional knowledge）

系统性掌握国际商务、国际贸易、国别与区域研究、中国经济、中国商法等领域的基本概念、理论知识，理解各个知识模块之间的关系，形成完整的知识体系。

Be able to systematically grasp the basic concept, theoratical knowledge on international business, international trade, countries and regions study, Chinese economy, Chinese business law, etc., understand the relationships among different knowledge modules, and form a comprehensive knowledge framework.

（二） 能力要求（Abilities ）

通过系统性学习，将本专业知识运用到实际商务运营和管理的实践能力；实现准确地跨文化沟通能力；具有分析问题、解决问题的能力及高效的团队合作能力。具体能力如下：

The abilities of applying specialized knowledge to business operation and management through systematic learning; the abilities of accurate cross-cultural communication; the abilities of analyzing and solving problems; the abilities of effective team cooperation. More specific as followed:

1. 具备中文和英文双语进行跨文化商务沟通与谈判的能力；

The ability to conduct cross-cultural business communication and negotiation in both Chinese and English;

2. 具备掌握市场调研方法、熟练使用商务分析软件进行国内外市场调研、分析的能力；

The ability to master market research methods and proficiently use business analysis software to conduct domestic and foreign market research and analysis

3. 通晓中国经济现状、营商法律和惯例，具备跨学科的创新创业能力；

The ability of understanding China's current economic situation, business laws and practices, and having the spirit of interdisciplinary innovation and entrepreneurship.

4. 洞悉中国产业动态，具备应用所学知识与方法解决外国企业在华经营中实际问题的能力。

The insight into the dynamics of China's industry, and the ability of applying the knowledge and methods learned to solving the practical problems encountered in the foreign companies operating in China.

（三）素质要求（Quality requirements）

1.具有优良的道德品质和社会责任感，具备正确的世界观、人生观和价值观，具有较强守法经营的法制观念；

Possessing excellent moral trait and sense of social responsibility, having a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values, and have a strong legal concept of law-abiding in operating business;

2.具备较高的人文、科学、艺术素养；科学的思维方法、求实创新精神、以及专业分析素养；

To be equipped with the literacy of humanity, sciences, and arts, the scientific methodology, spirit of entrepreneurship, and the accomplishment of profession;

3.拥有良好的专业素养、团队协作精神和国际视野，具备职业认同感、职业责任感和职业素养。

Possessing good professional quality, teamwork spirit and international vision, with professional identity, professional responsibility and professional quality.

4. 具有强健的体魄和健全的心理素质。

Being healthy and sound physically and mentally.

艺术专业非学历类留学生基本学制为一学期。

The basic duration of study for non-academic international students in the arts is one semester.

1、书法基础

Fundamentals of Calligraphy

通过对中国书法的基本理论和实践技法的学习，并理论讲授中国书法艺术的大致源流以及五种书体之间的关联。让学生初步掌握书法艺术的基本审美规律且具备一定水准的实践示范能力，使得学生建立起对中国书法的法度范式与审美内涵的正确理解，并尽力做到技法动作与图像效果的简洁匹配。同时也将书法基础课程中学习中所取得的笔法经验运用到对碑刻范本的解读中。在大篇幅的临摹中能够更加娴熟地驾驭毛笔。并有效的学习领悟笔墨章法。

Students will learn the basic theories and practical techniques of Chinese calligraphy and will be taught the general origins of the art of Chinese calligraphy and the connections between the five styles of calligraphy. Students will be able to develop a basic understanding of the aesthetic principles of Chinese calligraphy and will be able to demonstrate a certain standard of practice, so that they can develop a correct understanding of the legal paradigm and aesthetic connotations of Chinese calligraphy, and make every effort to match the technical movements with the pictorial effects. The experience gained in the study of brushwork in the Basic Calligraphy Course is also applied to the interpretation of model inscriptions. In the largescale copying, the brush is mastered more skillfully. You will also learn to comprehend the brush strokes effectively.

2、中国画基础课

Basic Chinese Painting Course

通过本专业课程学习，能基本理解传统中国画理论、欣赏审美风格、了解流派艺术特征。通过传统绘画中用笔、用墨表现技法的传习，使学生能熟悉中国传统绘画工具的特性，透过历代人物、山水、花鸟画经典作品的技法实践当中，学习并掌握传统绘画中的笔墨造型语言和各种图样章式，经由教师的指导分析与教学示范，让学生通过临摹的途径，能基本掌握笔墨造型的能力，充分理解中国传统绘画中的各类表现样式与技法。为中国画写生表现物象的形式打好基本功、也为后续创作课程作铺垫。

Through this specialized course, students will be able to gain a basic understanding of traditional Chinese painting theory, appreciate aesthetic styles and understand the artistic characteristics of schools. Students will be able to learn and master the language of brushwork and ink modelling in traditional painting through the practice of classical works of figure, landscape and bird and flower painting. Students will be able to understand the various styles and techniques of expression in traditional Chinese painting. This course will provide students with a basic understanding of the various styles and techniques of expression in traditional Chinese painting. It will also provide students with the basic skills for the expression of objects in life drawing and pave the way for subsequent creative courses.

3、中国画山水临摹

Chinese Painting Landscape Copying

通过本专业课程学习,能基本理解并掌握宋代山水画的基本理论、观念及各方面知识。通过对宋人优秀作品及技法临摹练习实践，掌握传统绘画的一些基本表现技法及种种图样章式。从而既具有宋人绘画理念技能与审美精神，又具有一定的山水画创作能力。通过理解学习借鉴宋人诸画派的传承与教学的历史，并能在今后初中美术课堂教学中借鉴，以满足新时期发展对具有较高综合素质人才的需要。

Through this course, students will gain a basic understanding and mastery of the basic theories, concepts and knowledge of landscape painting of the Song Dynasty. Through the practice of copying the outstanding works and techniques of the Song Dynasty, students will be able to master some of the basic techniques of traditional painting and various patterns and chapters. This will provide the skills and aesthetic spirit of the Song painting concepts as well as the ability to create landscape paintings. Through understanding and learning the history of the heritage and teaching of the Song schools of painting, and to be able to draw on it in future junior art classroom teaching, in order to meet the needs of the development of the new era for people with a high level of comprehensive quality.

4、蓝染工艺与制作

Blue dyeing process and production

通过本课程的学习，学生能了解蓝染工艺的基本制作工艺原理和美学知识，掌握蓝染工艺相关的材料及制作工艺流程，具备本课程所必须的基础理论知识，具备运用蓝染工艺解决布艺蓝染过程中具体美学设计问题的能力，为传统手工艺设计的后续课程及今后实际工作打下扎实的基础，了解传统工艺并能进行创新设计，培养专业兴趣，了解的中国传统文化素养。

Through this course, students will be able to understand the basic production process principles and aesthetic knowledge of the blue dyeing process, master the materials and production process related to the blue dyeing process, have the basic theoretical knowledge necessary for this course, have the ability to apply the blue dyeing process to solve specific aesthetic design problems in the process of fabric blue dyeing, lay a solid foundation for subsequent courses in traditional handicraft design and future practical work, understand traditional crafts and be able to design innovatively, develop a professional interest and an understanding of traditional Chinese cultural literacy.

5、中国民族声乐

Chinese folk vocal music

本课程的开设将着眼科学发展新要求、文化发展新趋势，紧紧围绕中国民族声乐的历史渊源、区域特色、演唱技法、艺术表现等方面展开教学，通过对中国民族声乐的基本理论和演唱技法的学习，让学生初步掌握中国民族声乐艺术的风格特点和审美内涵，具备一定水准的演唱能力，拓展艺术视野。

This course will focus on the new requirements of scientific development and the new trend of cultural development, closely around the historical origin of Chinese national vocal music, regional characteristics, singing techniques, artistic expression and other aspects of teaching, through the study of the basic theory and singing techniques of Chinese national vocal music, so that students initially master the style characteristics and aesthetic connotation of Chinese national vocal music art. Have a certain level of singing ability, expand the artistic vision.

6、中国传统器乐

Chinese traditional instrumental music

本课程的开设将着眼科学发展新要求、文化发展新趋势，紧紧围绕中国传统器乐的历史渊源、区域特色、演奏技法、艺术表现等方面展开教学，通过对中国传统器乐的基本理论和演奏技法的学习，让学生初步了解中国传统器乐的风格特点和审美内涵，掌握1-2种中国传统乐器一定水准的演奏能力，拓展艺术视野。

This course will focus on the new requirements of scientific development and the new trend of cultural development, and will focus on the historical origin, regional characteristics, playing techniques, artistic expression and other aspects of traditional Chinese instrumental music. Through the study of the basic theory and playing techniques of traditional Chinese instrumental music, students will have a preliminary understanding of the style characteristics and aesthetic connotation of traditional Chinese instrumental music. Master one or two kinds of Chinese traditional instruments to a certain level of playing ability, expand the artistic vision.
